Hot and Cold Takes: Notre Dame VS Army

As a refresher, I feature the most interesting, most wildly inaccurate, and most accurate takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from the previous week. Let's get started!

Farsahl giving the proper shine to the members of WOPU nation on Senior Day. Love it.

Things that aren't going to happen for a thousand, Alex.

Seriously guys my back is KILLING me from patting myself. 2 weeks in a row and I am dead on. Keep up!

And now onto the take for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Army Black Knights

Jayden Harrison leads all WRs in receptions and yards

Harrison has had a relatively quiet year, despite some very real hype coming out of the Spring and Summer camp. He is twitchy, but was never really known at Marshall as a pass catcher, which seemed odd. He made a huge play against Louisville to help win that game, but outside of that was very quiet for most of the season. However, the last 2 weeks he has really come on strong with not only catches, but great catches and routes.

As I noted above, he is developing strong chemistry with Riley Leonard, who clearly trusts him. Harrison continues his upward trajectory with Jaden Greathouse likely a bit banged up from last week. He has earned a lot more touches, and is given all of the chances in this one. Look for a career day for #2.

RJ Oben makes a big splash

Oben has been wildly quiet and disappointing the majority of the year. However, the last 2 weeks he has started to flash....which could not be happening at a better time. This week, he will be going against a smaller line than normal, and will have a chance to make some plays. Oben casts aside the haters (of which there are many) and makes multiple splash plays (TFLs, sack, forced fumble, or fumble recovery) against the Black Knights. He has been looking more decisive and will have gained confidence heading into the final stretch. If the Irish hope the make a run, he will be a critical piece.

Also, take a look at high Duke highlights.....the player is in there, and he is starting to emerge.
