Muscatine Parks and Rec hosts light competition

Join the Muscatine Parks and Recreation for a festive competition: The Holiday Lights and Decorations Contest. Brave the cold, put the candy canes and lights out on the house, and send in your photographs for a chance to win a prize.

Participating residents are encouraged to decorate their homes in a bright and festive way, with lights, inflatables and more. Send in submissions to [email protected] for a chance to win some fun prizes from Muscatine Parks and Recreation.

Submissions are due by Dec. 31 and will be showcased on the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Facebook page. Judging will take place after the deadline with Police Chief Anthony Kies judging the entries. The winners will be announced on the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

Please contact the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department at (563) 263-0241 or email [email protected] for more information.
