MATTOON, Ill. -- The Lincoln Blue Tigers extended their winning streak to three games Sunday with a 74-49 victory against Ohio Dominican in men's basketball action at Lakeland College.

Tyler Chapman scored 30 points for the Blue Tigers, going 6-of-9 on 3-pointers, as Lincoln improved to 8-0 in non-conference contests this season.

Lincoln trailed just once Sunday, that coming at 2-0 after Ohio Dominican scored on the opening possession of the game. The Blue Tigers then scored 10 of the next 12 points of the game.

The Blue Tigers led by as many as 14 points in the first half, that coming at 30-16 after Chapman hit a 3-pointer with around eight minutes left. Lincoln led 36-29 at the half.

Lincoln put the game away by opening the second half on an 11-0 run, with the final seven points coming from Chapman, to take a 47-29 lead. The Blue Tigers led by as many as 31 points in the second half before settling on the 25-point final margin.

Elijah Hinton had 13 points for Ohio Dominican (3-8), an NCAA Division II school in Columbus, Ohio, while Terrance Broughton added 12.

Malcolm Davis added 14 points for Lincoln, while Franck Yetna chipped in with 10. Max Ekono pulled down 13 rebounds for the Blue Tigers.

Lincoln (9-4, 1-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference) will resume conference play Friday, Jan. 3, at Quincy.
