Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco was activated ahead of the defending Super Bowl champions' week's matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders after a long stint on injured reserve.
He was initially hurt in Week 2, suffering a bone fracture in his leg that necessitated recovery time before he could make his comeback.

After fracturing his fibula in Week 2 Pacheco was placed on injured reserve and took time off to heal. Ahead of his activation for Week 13, Pacheco began practicing with the Chiefs again and worked his way up to full participation.
In week 14 Pacheco is no longer on Kansas City's injury report.

Pacheco is not expected to miss any more time this season now that he has made his return to the field.
Pacheco will play against the Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

While Pacheco was absent, veteran Kareem Hunt began his second stint in Kansas City to take over the starting running back role. With Pacheco back on the active roster the expectation is that he and Hunt will be used equally, with Samaje Perine and Carson Steele available to fill in.
