Cameras Catch Penn State LB Vomiting on the Field Ahead of Oregon Touchdown

It's easy to forget sometimes that under the helmet and all those pads, there is a real human being experiencing all sorts of emotions and stresses. The moment may have been too much, or his pregame meal, but Penn State Nittany Lions linebacker Kobe King vomited on the field just before the Oregon Ducks converted a two-yard touchdown to Kenyon Sadiq.

In the high-stakes Big Ten Championship game, the scoring is already much faster than in the SEC Championship between Georgia and Texas. The No. 1 Ducks are up 14-10 against the No. 3 Nittany Lions with seconds left in the first quarter.

King, a redshirt junior, is second on the team with 62 total tackles. He also has three sacks and a pass defended. He also finished second in tackles last season.

According to 247 Sports, King was a three-star recruit and a member of Penn State's 2021 recruiting class. His brother, Kalen King, was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the seventh round.

Kobe has yet to declare for the draft, but he's projected to be a late-round pick should he make the leap. Brad Menendez of Draft Countdown has King as his No. 66 prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft.
