GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The Green Bay Botanical Garden gave the media a sneak preview of this year's 28th annual WPS Garden of Lights.
Visitors can take in more than 350,000 lights across more than 40 nature-themed displays.
Two new displays have been added to the Garden of Lights this year: Marigolds in Motion and the 8,000 light Touch & Glow display.
At Marigolds in Motion, attendees can touch large flowers to make them glow. Touch & Glow has a similar gimmick -- By pushing buttons, the night sky is lit with snowflakes, butterflies, and more.
As with every display, this year's was weeks in the making.
Laura Nelson, President and CEO of Green Bay Botanical Garden said, "Putting on this display takes many, many hours of design, and of course lots of hours of setting up. It's about six to eight weeks of putting up displays."
The 28th annual WPS Garden of Lights opens to the public on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
