If I say 'Dune' and 'Willy Wonka', who do you think of right away?
Back when I was in band, I definitely wouldn't have minded a celebrity crashing practice!
But why was the 28-year-old actor in Minnesota?
It was all to promote his new movie about Minnesota musician Bob Dylan and to attend a special screening. The movie is called 'A Complete Unknown' and it's all about Bob Dylan's life after moving from Minnesota to New York in 1961.
Timothee Chalamet was cast to play Bob Dylan in the biopic. He wanted to make sure he knew everything about Bob Dyaln's upbringing and where he came from to play the role properly.
Timothee visited the Land of 10,000 Lakes twice last year to study for his role. He visited Minneapolis, Duluth, and Hibbing during his short visits. He also visited Bob Dylan's high school and the home he grew up in.
This most recent visit Timothee Chalamet was promoting the movie, which comes out on December 25th. He also told Minnesota journalists, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune, that he "'loved, loved coming here'".
He definitely grew a fondness for Minnesota during his visits here. The most recent trip here was actually his idea. He said, "'I love Minnesota and I find the people to be really nice and generous of spirit.'"
