FANS were touched by the NFL legend Randy Moss's emotional message on live television.

Moss shared that he's dealing with a health battle during ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown.

The NFL Hall of Famer Moss said that he's "battling something internally" that will require him to wear glasses throughout the program.

"I just wanted to let the viewers know that me and my wife, me and my family, we are battling something internally," he said.

"You know, I have some great doctors around me. I couldn't miss the show. I wanted to be here with you guys. I feel great.

"But if y'all see me with these Michigan turnover glasses that I have on, it's not being disrespectful because I'm on television, man.

"I'm battling something. I need all the prayer warriors."

Moss didn't reveal his specific medical condition but he did tell people to "do your checkups, get your bloodwork done" in an Instagram post.

NFL fans on social media were moved to tears by the announcement and sent their prayers to Moss and his family on X.

After Moss finished speaking about the sunglasses, host Mike Greenberg, former NFL players Alex Smith, Tedy Bruschi, and former head coach Rex Ryan took out glasses at the same time to wear alongside Moss.

NFL insider Adam Schefter, who was standing next to the main set in the studio, also pulled out glasses.

"All for one and one for all," Greenberg said as he put the glasses on his face.

"If he's wearing glasses, we're all wearing glasses today."

Moss earned six Pro Bowl appearances and eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards in a season 10 times in his 14-year career.

He retired after the 2012 season.

Moss began his sports broadcasting career on Fox NFL Kickoff from 2012 to 2015.

He has served as an NFL analyst for ESPN since 2016 and has since been a regular member of the Sunday NFL Countdown crew.
