2 rock concerts added to Syracuse amphitheater's 2025 lineup

Two rock concerts are being added to the Syracuse amphitheater's 2025 music lineup.

Creed will perform at the Empower Federal Credit Union Amphitheater on Friday, July 11, as part of the Scott Stapp-led band's "Return of the Summer of '99'' tour dates. Special guests 3 Doors Down and Mammoth WVH will open the show at 6 p.m.

Coheed and Cambria and Mastodon will co-headline a Friday, May 30, concert at the Empower FCU Amphitheater. Special guest Periphery will kick off the night at 7 p.m.

Concertgoers will not be allowed to bring their own lawn chairs inside the venue. A limited number of lawn chair rentals are available.

Syracuse is the only Upstate New York stop on Creed's tour with 3 Doors Down. Coheed and Cambria and Mastodon will also perform May 26 at the Broadview Stage at SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) in Saratoga Springs.

Stapp reunited with Creed this past year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of its its biggest album, "Human Clay." The rock band's hits include songs like "Higher," "My Sacrifice," "With Arms Wide Open" and "One."

3 Doors Down is a modern rock band well known for early 2000s radio singles like "Kryptonite," "Loser," "Be Like That," "Duck and Run," "When I'm Gone" and "Here Without You."

Coheed and Cambria is an alternative/progressive rock band known for songs like "Welcome Home," "A Favor House Atlantic," "Shoulders" and "Wake Up."

Mastodon is a Grammy-winning metal group whose catalog includes "Blood and Thunder," "The Motherload," "Oblivion" and "Steambreather."
