Cub Tracks' arms build-up

By Duane Pesice

Cub Tracks' arms build-up

Jed Hoyer has undertaken to collect arms, in the apparent hope that some of the spaghetti will stick. We know this routine, seen the trailer, bought the t-shirt. The Pitch Lab can help, but it can't generate talent, no matter how trendy the offerings and how highly-regarded the personnel are.

Jon Morosi fuels today's subplot, while the main Bellinger narrative continues. Brooks Kriske and Matthew Boyd are the newest additions to the pitching staff, and we'll have to see where they fit in when it all shakes out. Riley Thompson has gone to Korea. Kyle Higashioka is a Ranger.

The Winter Meetings are next week. Maybe then we'll have content. Maybe.

Rob hates baseball. Each idea is worse than the last.
