The Johnson County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help to locate a missing 13-year-old.
Jaylin Brown of Iowa City was last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, at 5048 Highway 6 Southeast on the far southeast side of town. The site is the former home of the Kinderfarm Preschool, which closed in 2022.
Police say the 13-year-old Brown was picked up by "an adult friend" and "has not been seen by his family since." Other information regarding the incident was not immediately available.
Brown is 5'9", weighs 138 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen in a dark hoodie and dark pants. He has a piercing in his nose.
