Salman Khan's Mumbai Home Shielded With Bulletproof Glass, Electric Fencing Amid Death Threats- Watch

Salman Khan has taken precautions to sheild his Mumbai residence after the shooting incident last year

Salman Khan has been on the receiving end of death threats for quite sometime now. Months after the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique, who Khan shared a very close bond with, the actor has increased security at Galaxy Apartments, his Mumbai residence. Apart from the added security detail, his house is being shielded by a blue bulletproof glass and an electric fencing.

As per a report by Hindustan Times, his house also has a modern security system and high-resolution CCTV camera which would detect suspicious activities near his residence. For those who don't know, Salman lives in a 1 BHK flat on the ground floor and his parents live on the first floor of the building.

Photos and videos of workers installing the glass panels have surfaced on the internet. The news agency ANI shared a video of the same on their official X handle. Netizens have taken to the comment section of the post to request the actor to also think about the other residents of the Galaxy Apartments.

According to various media reports, the 59-year-old actor has been provided with Y-plus security as well as a police escort vehicle, which accompanies his car. A constable, trained in handling all weapons, is also assigned to protect Khan. Apart from that, security has also been beefed up at the Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor's farmhouse in Panvel.

For the unversed, Khan has received many death threats from Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang over the years. They previously targeted him because of his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. After the shooting incident in April 2023, Khan has been cautious about his security.

On the work front, Salman Khan is currently shooting for the 18th season of Bigg Boss. He will be next seen in Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna. The movie is set to release on the big screens on Eid 2025.
