Mindy Kaling's red carpet style has undergone an entire evolution over the course of the actress, screenwriter and producer's career. Kaling's career took off during her time as a writer and cast member of the NBC series "The Office" (2005-2013). The series, which received awards acclaim from the Emmys and Golden Globes, landed Kaling on several high-profile red carpets.

Kaling will announce the 2025 Golden Globe Awards nominations on Monday alongside Morris Chestnut. The two stars will reveal the nominees in the acting, directing and screenwriting categories, among others, for 2024's best films and TV series. In 2006, Kaling joined her fellow "Office" cast members at the Golden Globe Awards wearing a shimmering halter dressing with variations on silver and icy sequins. Kaling's dress featured slim straps and a flowing silhouette. She coordinated the look with her statement earrings.

Three years later, Kaling hit the of the Golden Globe Awards again. This time, she wore a black, floor-length dress with draped fabric and shimmering silver embellishments to accent her shoulders. The dress also featured a V neckline. The glimmering details on Kaling's shoulders matched her clutch.

By 2010, Kaling experimented with vibrant color, wearing a canary yellow, one-shoulder dress with a Grecian goddess vibe to the Golden Globe Awards. The dress featured a cinched waist and belted element.

The 2025 Golden Globe Awards celebrate the best in film and TV throughout 2024. "Wicked" is among the films projected to score major nominations come Monday. The awards show airs live on Jan. 5 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+ in the U.S. Nikki Glaser will serve as host for the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
