Tens of thousands of Southern California residents were asked to flee their homes on Tuesday after LA's Pacific Palisades area got caught in a brush fire.

Over 80,000 people have been asked to evacuate the Los Angeles area after the Palisades fire scorched nearly 10,800 acres, the Eaton fire burned 10,600 acres, 30 acres burned by the Woodley fire and another 700 acres were destroyed by the Hurst fire, NBC News reported.

Dry conditions and strong winds have exacerbated the fires, which are zero percent contained, and two deaths have been reported as of Wednesday noon.

Here are some images and videos from the affected areas:

From my aunts house in LA yesterday. Thank goodness they evacuated but I'm worried sick. Sending love and comfort to all affected. #palisadesfire
