ASHWAUBENON - Comedian Nate Bargatze knows a good thing when he sees it, including return trips to the Resch Center.
He's coming back to the arena on May 9 for his third visit in four years for a stop on his Big Dumb Eyes World Tour announced on Monday. Green Bay is the second U.S. date on the 66-date trek, which is also making stops in Madison on June 21 and Milwaukee on July 25.
The tour, featuring all-new material, supports the Tennessee-born Bargatze's first book, "Big Dumb Eyes: Stories From a Simpler Mind," due out May 6 from Grand Central Publishing. The collection of personal stories, opinions and confessions covers his first car, life as a Southerner and how his wife keeps him in line.
Tickets for the Resch Center performance are $39.75, $59.75, $79.75 and $99.75. They go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday through TicketStar at ticketstaronline.com, 800-895-0071 and the Resch box office. Pairs of aisles seats are $10 more. There is an eight-ticket limit.
A presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Bargatze was last at the Resch Center on May 19 for an extension of his Be Funny Tour that launched in 2023. His first appearance at the venue came in October 2022 for The Raincheck Tour.
Bargatze's family-friendly comedy and soft-spoken delivery have made him one of the top-grossing comedians in the country. "Nate Bargatze: Hello World" became Prime Video's most-streamed original comedy special in the first 28 days of viewership when it was released in 2023, with 2.9 million viewers.
He hosted "Saturday Night Live" in 2023 to rave reviews, with the "Washington's Dream" skit about weights and measures becoming an instant "SNL" classic, and returned this fall to do it again.
