Katt Williams admits he set out to 'kill the careers' of other comics

The comic also talked about the Diddy debacle, which he predicted at the top of this year

Katt Williams caused the earth to shudder at the top of this year in that record-shattering interview on the "Club Shay Shay" podcast.

Today, the comedian now admits that he "set out to kill the careers" of the other jokesters that he dragged on Shannon Sharpe's podcast, most notably Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer.

Williams appeared at New York Magazine's "Vulture Festival" to promote his upcoming tour "Heaven on Earth," and to discuss his career, politics, current events -- and, of course, his now legendary "Club Shay Shay" appearance which became the most watched podcast of all time.

"I [set] out to kill the careers of the people I was talking about," Williams stated. "But, it was so vicious that I erased all of the knockout blows and just left the jabs, so that the comic I'm talking about knows I know [their] real story, motherf -- er.' "

The host of the "Vulture" event broached the topic of disgraced mogul Diddy, whom Williams prophesied would be one of the folks who would "catch hell in 2024" because "all lies will be exposed."

Williams turned out to be a great prognosticator -- at least as it pertains to the Bad Boy boss. In April, federal agents raided both of Sean "Diddy" Combs' palatial mansions in Los Angeles and Miami and reportedly uncovered a treasure trove of incriminating evidence related to the infamous "freak offs." In September, Diddy was indicted and arrested on three major federal charges related to moral turpitude. He is currently jailed at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.

When Williams asked if he attended Diddy parties, the Friday After Next star didn't hold back, as per usual.
