OKLAHOMA CITY. (KSWO) - Oklahoma's Attorney General is pushing back on what he calls unlawful regulations on cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.
AG Gentner Drummond is joining more than a dozen other attorneys general in filing litigation against the Biden Administration's regulations.
They say the SEC has overstepped its authorization in trying to classify cryptocurrencies as "investments"
"We should be encouraging this vibrant, new digital asset industry for its ability to innovate, create jobs and make financial services more accessible for millions of Americans," Drummond said.
